Help..forgot starter connections?

While replacing oil cooler and lines (87 5kcstq), I had to disconnect the
starter cables. Since 2 weeks have passed since disconnecting, I've forgotten
what I was sure I'd remember-which cable goes where? Bentley shows wiring,
but I'm unable to determine which studs they go to, on starter/solenoid.

The starter/solenoid has 3 electrical connections:
1) push on connector-no problem there
2) "lower" connector stud that has what appears to be a short ground strap
running down to the starter motor.
3) "upper" connector stud.

Which cable goes where?
a) single cable
b) dual cable (one of which goes directly to alternator) into one connector
