V6 reliability

My '92 100CSQW will turn 180k tonight on my way to the Wilmington (Del.)
Blue Rocks stadium for a minor-league baseball game.  It has been rock
solid reliable, gets slightly better gas mileage, and except for so-so
acceleration off the line from the day it was driven off the boat from
Germany with 16 miles on the odo, continues to provide ample power
across the board.  It is, in my view, a remarkable engine considering
its antique 2 valve per cylinder configuration and weight of the
vehicle.  Take care of it and it will take care of you.
