I believe I identified them coyly to minimize offense .... louder than
thunder means the pride of the American road. 

HD of course.  You can tell the considerate HD people - they idle the bike
till they're out of town.  The jerks have to keep revving to 120 dB - what,
to prevent them from stalling? - while crawling through traffic.
