Yes. Superchips, there on the web.  You'll find some people for and
against
there product......  there may be others, but this is the only vendor I
know
of.

Increase is 10-15%.

Don't know how to boost the signal but if you check the door jamb you'll
probably
find the car with the antenna on the fender was built after the one with
antenna
in the glass...

My V8 was built 6/90 and I have it on the fender.
