Don't sweat it. In the US, we've had unleaded for as long as I can
remember. And I can tell you that my ur-q is making well over 200hp on
premium unleaded with no problems whatsoever. Plus, my ur-q is of the
non-knock sensing variety. Your '88 will be fine. You probably won't
even be able to tell the difference.
