Dark Colors

Re - the discussion of dirt showing up on a black car.

Ahem (slight throat-clearing required...): Duh.

Lest you think this deragatory, also BTDT...with a "Barrier Blue"
1966 Pontiac GTO (one shade from black.) Great for 2-3 hours after
washing, then shows every speck.

It may not be intuitive, but generally speaking, the LIGHTER the
car's color, the better it conceals dirt. Having sold cars for a
couple of years, I am amazed at how well a VERY light blue or green
metallic color conceals dirt. The Pearl White is actually very
forgiving as well.

The darker it gets, the more you see every speck.

TANSTAAFL.
