86 4kcsq: rear tranny bushing

Can anyone confirm that the replacement procedure in the Bentley is the
most expedient way for replacing the rear (center) bushing on the rear
diff on the 86 4kq's?  I also have oil deposits around the rear diff
so I suspect the oil seals need replacement as well.  If the diff needs
to come out to replace the rear bushing I might as well do the seals while
it is out.  What's the time involved for your average back yard mechanic?
Anything else I should take care of during this type of fix?
