Maybe, with a good paint job (not just a "hide the rust" job) but I doubt it
.  I mean, if you really fix it up, so there are no electrical gremlins, or
electrical tape, and it looks sharp, sure, someone ought to want it for the
second half of its life (what is the compression?) for $3k but do you think
you can get it into that condition?  If you do, why not keep it and enjoy it
?  Why not try to buy a parts car to help you with the fixing, especially
that electrical stuff?
