Well, that was how quattro was sold in the states in the late 80s to the
early 90s. The quattro was practically another car as far as AoA was
concerned. I really doubted back when (89-90 200q=$40k?) that I could
ever afford a new q.
Audi wised up and made quattro an option. At least everywhere in the
world except for the UK.
