Das is true.  I must say, however, the neatest thing I remember seeing at any
raceway was way back in 1983, out in Michigan, when VW hosted an event to
show off the "new" GTi.  They had 6 of the cars, in a row, all picking up
that rear tire around bends, all hitting the rev limiter...the effect was
similar to as follows.....
