steering wheel. I'd be willing to bet that if you cruised down the road at
45mph in third, and rolled gently on and off the gas, you'd feel a kick in
your steering wheel as well.
How about the bushing things at the top of the struts? They have a round
hole and if it "eggs" a bit, you wind up with two alignments - power on and
power off. The result - you have to correct the steering every time you
crest a hill or bottom out a valley. I once drove to NYC from NH (375 miles
) with this problem. Not exactly fatigue free driving! They were cheap to
buy and cheap to replace. hth
