This is quite a coincidence, I own a 1985 Audi 5000S Turbo and just
yesterday began to notice similar problems to those you are
experiencing. I was climbing a medium hill and pressed the accelerator
to full throttle and noticed a decrease in power. The engine was acting
as if it was flooding. It performs normally until the accelerator is
pressed all the way down and the kickdown device switch is pressed.
Yesterday was the first time I noticed this behavior. If anyone has any
suggestion on what the problem might be, it would be greatly
appreciated.
