Absolutely true.  The "quattro build team" was 48 people, and they built around 
three cars a day.

This isn't, as many say, a "permanent" change.  From late 1985 onwards, they 
used what appears to have been a random mixture of plastic and steel.

Erm - yes.  GBP38 today, for a new throttle switch.  GBP110 yesterday, for a 
new system and control pressure regulator.  GBP9 the day before, for a new 
headlight adjuster arm and clip.
