Euro headlight aiming
Hello, virtual club!
I need a favor from our Euro contingent: a procedure for aiming the H4/H3
headlights against the wall. Phil, Hans? My Bentley only shows the DOT-spec
aiming with the help of some funny thingy on a suction cup.
As I had posted in detail several month ago, I recenly replaced all 4
shocks. The fronts are Pro-Gas and the rears are Turbo-Gas. Since the fronts
are _a_lot_stiffer than the rears, the nose has risen somewhat.
Add 4 adults to the cabin with 3 suitecases in the trunk and you get all of
my 560w worth of H4/H3 eurolight shooting for the Andromeda Fog.
BTW when we did a rather silly, albeit full of fun, night run through the
twisty roads of Mt.Washington two weeks ago after a supper at a local
Mexican eatery (and where I probably had one Margarita too many), my car was
in the rearguard. When somebody asked on a CB, where was Igor, Dan S.
suggested to *look at a Supernova in the back*.
Not that I was offended by such a comparison. :-)
Sooo, my headlightes are in a dire need of alignment, I am tired of getting
blinked at and of smacking them back with my 4x100w high beams just to prove
that I am not some schmuck, who turned his highs on a week ago and haven't
looked at the speedo since.
Any help is sincerely appreciated.
