Driver's side mirror delaminating?

Hi,
My '90 90q20v's driver's side rear view mirror seems to be
"delaminating". It started near the edges and has over the last six
months worked itself over half the glass. Has anyone else experienced
this? Is there a fix that a mirror/glass-shop can do or do I need to
replace the component? Note that the glass is anti-glare tinted and
heated. Dealer wants $90CDN.

RELATED EVENT: So there I was at the dealer pricing out a new mirror
glass. I park my little black car in the lot next to what I thought
was just another black 911. Then I noticed the spoiler. Then I noticed
the wheels. Then I noticed the yellow Porsche brake calipers peeking
out from behind the wheels. Then I noticed three or four mechanics
giving me dirty looks for parking next to the car. Then I say to
myself: "Oh, I get it! This is 911Turbo S!" Holy crapolla! I don't
know about the rest of the world, but Canada received exactly two of
these limited, high-powered cars and I was staring at one of them.
What can I say but "gorgeous". Priced at almost $250K CDN, it would
seem a better deal than a house in the suburbs, n'est pas?
