DUH! (no Audi content)

Be advised the attempting to download email during an electrical storm can
be hazardous to your modem's health. In frying, it shorted the +5V power to
ground, preventing everything else from operating.

This was not the way I wanted to upgrade to a Sportster, but I'm happy...
Unfortunately, I no longer have an excuse to cop that P200mmx cpu and
motherboard...
