If it is the same problem I have... it's the "brain."  Try touching the
"low" fan speed button. On my car this changes the direction of air flow to
front vents.  Once the air flows from front, I have been able to return to
"high" fan speed and air continues to flow from front vents.  It will
eventually "go the
other way," but I repeat the sequence and I'm back in business.  I have
been doing this for the past four or five years.  I understand the "real"
fix is
expensive.  Fool the brain.  Hope it works for you.
