Something Must Be Wrong! (Dusted by a BMW)

 Let me start this by saying I suspect that the problem is more with the   
driver (me) rather than the car, even though it is not producing as much   
boost as before...
 Last night coming home from downtown, this little 325IX flew by me and   
then stopped at the light.  Well feeling a little cocky myself I pulled   
up next to him at the light and listened for his engine to see if he was   
rev'ing it.  He wasn't so I didn't.  The end result was that using a   
regular take-off and then letting the engine spool up, I got completely   
dusted by this thing.  Granted neither of us got much past 50 mph and we   
got stuck at the next light; but I still was a little bruised in the ego   
area...
