Well for, shits and grins, remove your new thermostat and run the car without
it.  If you are presently living in tempertures that don't permit snow it
will safe.  It sounds like you have covered the whole coolant system.  If
your car runs hot after you remove the thermostat then it obviously not
getting coolant to the engine even though you flushed it.  Maybe you put the
thermostat in wrong...I did...sucked...cost me too much to talk about.
 Anyway good luck and remember your not the only one out there whose had to
deal with moody cars.
