I have used the high flow cats from JC Whitney on other cars with good
results. They seem to be fairly free-flowing, although I haven't actually
done any testing to confirm this. I don't use cats on my own cars. If
you have a good welder who can install this cat, the JCW piece is good
value for the money. It doesn't have any flanges on it - just tubes on
each end. You have to weld it or clamp it into your car. The 2.5" cat is
about 85 bucks. The 3" cat is about 100 if you get their sales catalogue.

What you really need is a 3" exhaust system though - that will
really wake up the 5KCSTQ. :-) It will also wake up your pocket book
though! :-(
