Haudi list,

Been checking the list intermittently for the last month and a
half, in that time I've managed to travel the equivalent of
once around the world by almost everything from Donkey to
A8Q.  Took the car cover off the ole V8Q, after a month and
a half, half a turn of the flywheel and she sparks to life
as if parked overnight. Man, do I love this car.

It looks like I will soon be a one-Audi listmember, a
car I've had my sights on for years has finally become
available (1984 Mercyless Benz 300 Turbo Diesel wagon,
with <100K miles).  One owner, parked in subterranean
garage since new, and only used in summer months for
vacations. Price was right too, I offered half of
wholesale, and they countered with 60% of wholesale.
Original floor mats aren't even worn.

I would have loved to get an Audi Wagon, but they
just arent' out there. The few I've seen were in
rough shape, and the rest absurdly overpriced.

So, I've got to find a good home for my former, wifes
current, 1984 5KS with about 150K miles. It's a 5 speed
manual, with sunroof.  I've always maintained this car
well and never skimped on anything. Just in the last 2
years I've replaced the clutch, slave cylinder, hydraulic
bomb, coolant reservoir, all filters, heater core, alternator,
CV boots, Timing belt, water pump, climate control, etc.  Most
of these parts were still original when I replaced them, so
they should last many moons before they have to be addressed
again.

Car is Brown with light brown interior, average condition,
drives great.  The first $1000.00 takes it away.  Parting
is tough, I've had this car longer than my youngest offspring.
