sport syncro 20v turbo

Greetings!

Yup, last friday night I dropped over to help do some graphics for a few
SCCA rally cars at Vermont SportsCar and asked them what they thought of
my idea of installing a 7A 20v motor into my syncro...

..."why"...? (most all of them responded.)

"Thompson, don't mess with any normally aspirated motor... just drop in
a 20v turbo if you are going to do it right. Cool."

Done deal. Wife bought the upgrade and I should have a '91 200 20v turbo
3B motor - 40K miles, wiring harness, ECU, and misc sensors after the
Rumford, Maine SCCA Pro Rally, or in the next few weeks. Installation
will take place at Vermont SportsCar this fall and winter. Look for it
as a restoration project at; www.vtrally.com soon!

So, I need to gather info. As a LONG time resident of the q-Digest
(since '93...) Please help me.

1. What do you do about the vacumn assist for the brakes? I've seen the
Bennent Bros. use a vacumn canister in there 4KSq turbo 10v conversion?

2. How do the 016 syncro (quattro) trans/3B mate up? (WeeGee Smith says
no problem) Sensors too?

3. Intercooler location?

4. Should I use a 5 bladed fan off an S4? or ...?

5. ANY of you 3B 20v turbo converts please email me with your latest
info, as I have been off the digest for awhile and just got the tail end
of a thread from Steve E. about his latest clutch part findings.
