Injector Cooling Fan & Aux. Coolant Pump Update

According to the factory diagrams, the ur-quattro uses a controller in position
5 on the auxiliary panel. On the ur-quattro (don't know about the 5k) the
panel is numbered oddly:

J155 (the after-run controller) is in slot 5. The whole is also controlled by
a thermoswitch - F98.
Again, this is ur-quattro - but the after-run coolant pump _always_ has volts
on it. The red wire is unfused power that it shares with the injector cooling
fan. The other end of the injector fan motor is grounded to chassis simply
through the thermoswitch that you've found to be defective. In the case of the
after-run pump, it's grounded through the controller.
I'd suggest jumpering the red wire in the connector to one side of the pump,
and jumpering the other side of the pump to chassis ground. That should tell
you if the pump's OK. They don't often fail.
