A4 2.8Q, 30V Pricing

Sorry to bother the list again, however, I am getting conflicting
information on A4 pricing.

I am ready to buy a 97 A4 2.8Q, 30V, silver, leather, Bose, roof and sport
package. My local dealer
(Austin) sez he will order it for + 3% invoice. The Houston, Texas dealer
is getting list, at best throw in a CD changer. The problem is he (Houston)
might be able to trade with another dealer for the car I want, the local
guy sez with an order..... October. The spead here is almost $ 3K.

Any pricing from around the country might help me get the Houston guy in a
more agreeable cost position. Any assistance/information would be
appreciated.
