Be careful in assuming that the Aux. Turbo Pump is operating properly. I
snapped off a plastic fitting on mine while doing the clutch and thought
I could repair it. While repairing it I hooked it up to 12V and noticed
that the impeller wasn't turning so I tore into it further. I found that
it was a magnetically coupled impeller and the impeller shaft was seized
so that the motor would turn and everything seemed O.K from the outside
but no impeller rotation. I then destroyed mine and had to replace whole
unit (Blau $150). I was thinking a clear hoes on the output would
provide a easy check to see if it was pumping.
I also researched a relacement pump and could only find a March Pump
that they say will take the heat, pressure and antifreeze but the price
was about the same so I decided to go O.E.M.
