I wouldn't be surprised if the number of '87 5000 S Quattros wasn't that
great, but they certainly do exist. I'm driving an '87 5000 S Quattro
myself, and I know absolutely that it is original, seeing as my stepfather
bought it new from the dealer. :) I'm not sure what you mean by "regular
5000 lights." You mean the old quad headlamps, or the US version of the
aero lights? Mine has the latter (I'm sure someone else on the list knows
the proper name for them). I've seen two white '87s, one was a 4000 and
the other a wagon.
