Dammit....some scumbags got into the S4 on Sunday and removed almost
3k's worth (UKP) of Avionics i.e 2 x GPS, 2 x radio etc from under the
rear load cover.
The car is fitted with a top grade alarm (UK Thatcham Cat 1, as required
by UK insurers for high value cars) and is anti-scan etc. It appears
that they got into the car with a key. There is no damage whatsoever
(thankfully). Are Audi locks that bad (or is their key that good)?
The car is off on Monday to have a Toad-Eye fitted (hidden wide angle
camera in dash, that takes 12 photographs at intermittent intervals
whilst the alarm is sounding. These are saved to a solid-state module
that can be downloaded to a computer. The same company (Toad
Innovations) also provide a window film that makes them impossible to
break to force entry. This is also been fitted, not that I'm paranoid
:-)
Malcolm.
