That wouldn't be a Bosch rebuilt by any chance? I believe the people
who work on the Bosch remanufacturing line moonlight reconditioning
the delta radios for blaupunkt. Or is it the other way around?

Sounds real low. Measure the output close to the alternator. (Does the 91
have the auxiliary battery access terminal up forward like the older cars?)
That way you will be able to deduce whether it is an alternator or a wiring
voltage drop problem.
