Actually, "factory claim" is just that. It does not refer to every single
example off the production line. But rather it is the average of all of
that particular model. I don't know how much deviation the automotive MFR
is allowed, but a claimed 300bhp car can be, like, 290bhp or 310bhp. But
as far as in the eyes of government regulation, it's a 300bhp car.

So even though the S6 is claimed to do 6.2 and Motor Trend did 5.9, it
doesn't mean Audi's claim is conservative. So somewhere out there, there
will be an Audi S6 rolling right out of the showroom that could only do
0-60 in 6.5 seconds.

FYI, government allows certain amount of bug parts in retail consumer
chocolate products and still considered to be pure, clean, and fit to be
consumed.
