      No kiddin',   why would anyone think that the online mag would replace
the list.  This is not the intention of the mag.  I have met Steve at a
recent track event and his intentions are for the best.   The list and the
mag are two completely different beasts all together and shouldn't be
compared to one another.  Actually they can compliment each other given the
chance.    The magazine will not be able to handle the gross amounts of
communication of the list, and the list cannot provide the sort of structure
needed for feature articles,  connections with the manufacturer,  and
advertisements for the tweakers.   
      Come on guys,  how many times has the topic led to a mile long thread
on just figuring out a damn logo or decal for the LIST ?   Noone can make up
their minds here.  And when someone has a strong enough opinion, they get
poked at by a bunch of all-of-a-sudden smartass comments.   Don't get me
wrong, I love the list,  I promote it to potential listers, but  I think
everyone is jumping the gun here.   These very different entities should come
together, not repel.
