I've s*u*b*s*c*r*i*b*e*d* to this list for several years now. Over the past
few I've been a little miffed at the increasing amount of frivolous
bandwidth.  I remember those times when this list discussed the merits (gag
choke) of going to a newsgroup. Thank you Dan - thank you. I finally took a
look at alt.autos.audi. of the 111 messages only 37 were Audi or vw
related. 35 were sex spam and the rest were just more spam. We are really
fortunate to have this list. This list is still an oasis in a rapidly
changing Internet world and we all have a responsibility to preserve its
character.  I promise to never read alt.spam.audi again and I promise to
always think twice before I click on that send button. 

Thanks Dan for a valuable resource and for the many hours and coins this
list has saved me. Thanks for the forum that has provided entertainment and
smiles. Moments to treasure - thanks!
