  Does seem Audis have been over heating and under fusing
several components, ie light switch, fuel pump relay, heater switch which
was apparent cause of dash fire as I recall from Phil Paynes recent
posting. BTW I just took an old (one of three) replaced fuel pump relays
apart as the #87 pin (voltage out) was wobbling like a loose tooth,.Cause
of this was de soldering of the connection due to heat. Hmm wonder how hot
this was? >
