smoking switch
G'day q-list members.
Last Saturday morning shortly after I started the engine smoke started
pouring from either wiper or hazard light switch in the steering column.
Luckily before I had a chance to sufficate/panic it stopped. Since then
it has not reoccured. Both switches still function OK.
Would you have any advice if this can be fixed just by cleaning the
"smoking" switch or is replacement required to prevent any future
smoke/fire hazards?

PS: Have you heard of recent specials on gas masks I could purchase on
the web. ;-)
