Saw an ad yesterday for a 1992 Mercedes 500E which was built in very small
numbers by Porsche for Mercedes and has a 322 HP (yes, 322 Ponies) factory
V-8 Engine in a 300E body shell. It was listed at $31,900 w/81,500 Miles and
sold new for $82,000 new. Car & Driver tested this car in 1992 and can do
0-60 in 5 seconds. Call Rte 21 Auto Center in NJ, 201-481-9400. The car was
purchased by the dealer directly from Mercedes Benz Credit, One owner, and
