Ivor at TAP has developed a kit to fit A8 front rotors to the A4.  He says
the stock calipers work great with the larger rotor, but there is a spacing
problem with the new rotor.  He's had some custom spacers manufactured
which do the trick.  Check the TAP web page for more info...or e-mail him
directly.  BTW, no modifications to the master cylinder.
