My '94 90CS Quattro was purcahsed (recently) under the Audi Assure program.
I know its something that made me feel more secure in buying a used--
sorry! "pre-owned" vehicle.

In case you don't know the details, its a 2 year/24000 mile warranty. It
does NOT cover just about every wear item you can think of (which is not
unreasonable, if you think about it. Most warranties don't cover most wear
items). I *think* there is a $25 deductable per visit, however, I have not
had to pay it yet. (Maybe that'll kick in after the first 30, 60, or 90
days of ownership... dunno).

I've been back to the dealer twice since I took delivery about 3 weeks ago.
The first time was for a couple things that should have been done right
before I picked up the car, and the second time was today for a headlight
washer feed tube that had come loose. I was not charged anything for either
visit. It just cost me a little time.

Before purchasing the car I asked the dealer for a complete list of all the
things that get checked before the car can qualify under Audi Assure. Its
pretty long. Basically, its everything that must be checked (and therefore
fall within acceptable parameters) before Audi will warranty the car. In
other words, Audi is unwilling to warranty a car that doesn't start out at
a certain level of operating quality. I also had the car checked by my own
(trustworthy) mechanic, so I knew what they really needed to fix, and they
did (partly, I'm sure, because I pointed it out to them, so they went and
looked at the items, and discovered that Audi wouldn't warranty the car
like that...)

Hope this helps.
