Oxidization Reccommendation

Nice tounge twister subject line, eh?

Anyway, I wonder if anyone knows tips for a moderate, but not extreme
oxidizing paint job.  The original panels are looking fine, but the
driver's door and hood (which were replaced after an unfortunate *run-in*
with a toyota) are starting to get the nasty white bubbles of oxidization.
The 90Q has been my first 'real' car (as in a car worth more than $1500 ;),
so I have never really learned about body work, unfortunately.  Is it time
to take it to the body shop?  Can I do anything myself?  Thanks a lot for
helping a newbie!
