In addition to those already discussed, check out the Audi Tech Procedure
article in the November 1996 issue of European Car.  Jo Hoppen Motorsport
offers a brake upgrade kit for the A4, S4, S6 and V8 which increases the
disc diameter from 288mm to 314mm (and thickness from 25 to 30mm).  16-inch
and larger wheels are required.  New calipers with 43mm pistons, pads,
new strut housings, backing plates and stainless steel braided hoses are
also part of the kit.  The price is steep though, at $2950, and this does
not include installation...

Also, an even larger 323mm kit is also available (17-in. wheels required)...
