I replaced the chinese knockoff the previous owner had installed in my
85 4kq with a Fuba from www.antennaworld.com.  The change was nothing
short of miraculous - my wife used to get only 1 station on the way
to work in a low signal area, now she gets everything, AM too.
I plan to put one on my 84 as well.
