QUATTRO SER BOOKS.

Hey guys,

     I was diggin through a pile of audi crap at the local dealer and found
an original Audi Quattro (QTC) service training book.  It's loaded with all
sorts of neat info.  Also stumbled across a 4.2 liter V8 and S4
motronic/engine book.  Those who were thinking of stuffing 4.2 components
into 3.6 think again.  The book states 
The differences betqween the 4.2 and 3.6
the 4.2 has "Greater distance between cyclinders (90mm) witout changing the
length of the block"
increased stroke from 84.5mm to 93mm
"Modified crankshaft with new bearing locations"

etc. etc. 

Didn't mean to break anyones hearts...
