Removing a coil from the stock springs would not cause the car to bounce off
it's bump stops, as you put it.  Compare costs.  Granted, I don't have a new
A4, but I bought Eibachs for my 4000Q and cut the stock springs on my GTi.
 There is no difference, other than the 180$ extra I paid for the Eibachs.
