RE: Bose CD Changer, looking for one

The CD Changer Audi used was an Alpine unit.  It might be possible to purchace 
an Alpine changer aftermarket, therefore saving you several hundred bucks from 
buying it at the dealer.  I believe an adaptor exists that allows the stock 
head unit to communicate with aftermarket Alpine units.  Anyone know of or is 
using such an animal?
