200 clutch situation

As I was driving into the driveway Friday, my clutch pedal
went to the floor but did not engage the clutch. Now at idle,
and in neutral there is distinctive high end, bad noise emmanating out
the the tranny/flywheel area. Pressing the clutch pedal down partially
reduces the noise. I checked both master and slave cylinders for
external leaks but none were found.

Do I have a bad master cylinder or has something gone south
internally in the clutch assembly? The car has 117K miles and there
was some throw out bearing noise last winter that went into remission
this spring. Have I got a throw bearing preparing disintegrate?

Looking at my Bentley book, a clutch job on this car is
not one for first timers. What is a reasonable price for
this job providing I replace pressure plate, disc, TO
     and pilot bearings as well.
