Well, I have found and bought the 5ktq I have been searching for. Dark blue
metalic, Fuchs, nice shape. I plan to keep my 4kq long enough to make sure
this 5ktq isn't too much of a problem child...then sell it so anyone looking
for a real nice Alpine White '85 4kq...e-mail me direct.

5ktq Questions: 

1. My shift linkage seems off, first and second gears are off to the right
and the shifter isn't properly centered. Any advice on adjusting this
linkage?

2. Visors, is there a trick at repairing them to stay up? Or, is this
replacement only? (or a small velcro circle ;-)...)

3. Anyone have a shifter boot plastic housing or boot they want to sell
cheap? Mine has one broken plastic hook (thanks to problem meantioned in
question #1.)

4. After I give this car a good going over I want to upgrade the ECU/Spring
for more boost. Can someone steer me in the direction of a qlcc e-prom and
spring? I am capable of doing my own e-prom removal/socket installation, and
can burn the e-prom here at work (maybe) is need be. Also, can someone drop
me a note via private e-mail to remind me of everything I need to check
before doing this type of mod?

TIA for all the above...I will be a bit sad to let go of the 4kq which has
served me and my family so well...but we are a family of 5 and this car seems
to make so much more sense and I finaly have my 5ktq back!!!! Yippee!
