The recommended pieces of "junk" ( I will take exception to the Falcon
which was an underrated excellent value car for its day, and the Plymouth
Valient Slant 6...an army style totally reliable utility vehicle if there
ever was one) were recommended because of their high regard among city
drivers for their "bumper-car" like abilities.  Driving fast in the city is
for morons...those aren't pylons, they're people!
