Radar jammers

A company in New Zealand is currently marketing the Phantom detector/jammer
and Phazer jammer for both radar and lidar from Rocky Mountain Radar. 

These are a new product in our market strong claims from the supplier are
being made for their effectiveness. Sounds to good to be true.

This is at variance from the little info I can get from the internet, in 
particular a review by Craig Peterson from Automobile at: 
http://www.escortstore.com/jammer.htm. 

Any info, especially if first hand experience, would be *greatly* appreciated.
