Thank god I did not send my money to him.  I too was going to buy some parts 
from him but he did not return my phone calls and repeated mails so I assumed 
he dropped off the face of the earth.  I am sorry to hear of your troubles 
with him.  I have phone #s for him if you are having problems contacting him.

 I have been advised by Dan Simones to prevail upon listers in the Minneapolis 

area regarding a problem I am having with someone in your area. 
Some time ago now I responded to an add on the Q-list for URQ parts and sent 
$950 to Michael Wachholz of Minnetonka (612-931-3903, 3700 Westmark Circle, 
mwachholz@m-c-r-inc.com) for parts. I know, this was really dumb, but I did 
this 
after several discussions with the guy (interestingly, about unreliable people 

in the quattro business), and who as an enthusiast and fellow lister/audi 
fanatic, engendered my trust. It has been over 4 mos since, and despite 
multiple 
attempts to reach by phone and e-mail, I still have no parts (or money back).  
I 
have heard from him only twice during this time, by e-mail, each time assuring 

me (and others) that the parts would be sent. Three other listers were 
involve, 
and had the same problem. 
I hate to bother others with this, but short of pursuing a mail fraud 
investigation, which I have been told is a viable option, I am wondering if 
anyone out there knows this person or could help me figure out how to get him 
to 
make good on the bargain.
