voting against GM policy (almost no AUDI content)

Hey Audi-folks,

Sorry to "spam" all you here, but I found a problem with
a gentleman on the WWW. The poor guy got a Caddy and it
seems, the Caddy gods are more "böse" (angry) than
our Audi gods.
Anyway, I exchanged a few friendly E-Mails with Cadillac
lately regarding their possible Opel Omega MV-6 (alias
Catera) Wagon (yes, Wagon!!!) plans lately.

Now, they got a not-very-friendly E-Mail from me, where
I explained my solidarity with the victim of Caddy gods-
Rik Gruwez. (I never ever met or spoke with Rik, but what
I found on his home page at

wasn't really funny. Well, I believe, if anybody spends so
much on these cars, and the poor soul is a Caddy fan (we
may forgive him his passion this time - if he promises to
buy an A3/4/6/7?/8 next time ;^P ), GM has to appreciate
it in some way. (A cool way would be, for instance, to honor
the factory warranty which is still on the car).

If any of you feel that Rik deserves some better treatment

Remark/1: all we (import buyer, Audi/VW/whatever friends) are a
potential buying target for GM's Catera (and possibly upcoming
Catera Wagon). At least, GM may get some feedback from us.
I had the unfortune to own a '95 Chevy Lumina - and I am glad I
got rid of it (and of the GM's customer unservice).

Remark/2: the only OTHER carmaker, whose cars I like and who doesn't
have the world-wide warranty - is, guess, who. No, not the Volvo,
not the BMW and not the MBZ. We may drop a friendly E-Mail to AoA
as well (just in case...) BTW: since AoA is about to re-start the
Overseas Delivery and GM is considering to do this with Catera,
the thougt about the world-wide warranty is in their brains. A
friendly, tender whisper in their ears will not hurt the case.
