Chrysler is trying to do the same thing here, too--We have Eagle here as
well.  The big problem with trying to make a big deal of having a luxury
division and keep it somewhat seperate, is that dealers that have any GM
car have the same GM cars; Chrysler/Jeep/Eagle.  They're all about the
same in build quality.

It wasn't always owned by Ford, though--and most people don't really
think about it.  It was an interesting tradeoff, as I recall--20 year
old technology thrown together by money-grubbing British, changed to 20
year old technology thrown together by money-grubbing Americans.  I
guess you just can't win...
Anyway, the point was that most people don't associate Jag with Ford, so
none of that Ford etiquitte (?) rubs off.

Oh well; I suppose that my 90CS is also driven by a snobby moron
a**hole, but I like to think that I'm better than the other snobby moron
a**holes out there ;)  (oh wait...)
