Low voltage

Mike LaRosa reported low voltage and correction by tightening the
alternator belt but reoccurrence after going through a car wash.

I would suggest stopping the belt tightening and replace the belt.  I've
seen belts wear down and bottom out on the alternator drive pulley.
When this happens they will slip even when very tight.  It sounds like
yours may be reaching this point.
